Stainless Steel Tumbler Accessories

Stainless Steel Tumbler Accessories

So after you read our article on comparing the stainless steel tumblers HERE, it’s time to make your tumbler even better. Cool Shit Guys Need has you covered with the accessories you need to get the most out of your tumbler.

HANDLES

These tumblers are amazing at keeping your liquids cold, or hot, on the inside. On the outside they can be blistering hot in the sun, or freezing cold in the winter. After all, it is stainless steel so it absorbs the temperature around it very quickly. Our favorite handle comes from Grab Life Outdoors (See our review HERE). Their handles for the 20oz and 30oz tumblers are made from BPA-free FDA approved Nylon. Some other handle solutions:

LIDS

There isn’t much to this group of accessories. You either like the stock lid, or you don’t. The biggest complaint I hear about the lid is the lack of space for a straw. Rtic’s stock tumbler lid has an actual cut out for a straw. If you just want to pick that up, it can be found on Amazon here. Don’t worry, the lids are interchangeable on most of the popular brands of tumblers since they are all roughly the same dimensions.

The other option is a splash resistant lid. This is a lid that has a sliding door to keep the drinking hole covered when not in use. Several manufactures make them, so we will give you links to the best quality, and cheapest ones out there:

STRAWS

You have a nice stainless steel cup, why not add some stainless steel straws! Reusable, environmentally friendly, wont bend or break, these straws are an obvious choice. Most manufactures are offering a brush kit to help keep the insides cleaned out. Our favorite pick is the Magnum Steel set. If you prefer straight straws, CocoStraw is our close second favorite.

VISUAL

Vinyl decals are popular on the tumblers. There is no one place to buy them from but a quick Google search will give you many options. The other popular mod is doing some kind of coat, or dip, on your tumblers. If you search, you can find local companies who offer these services. Here are some DIY videos if you want to go that route.

These are just some of the best that is out there. Several companies are jumping on modifications, and additions, to the wildly popular tumbler scene. If you don’t see something you like, wait a week, and we will tell you about it when it comes out.
