Lever Gear Toolcard

Lever Gear Toolcard

After finding out about this awesome multi-tool, we couldn’t wait to get some more information about it. The Lever Gear Toolcard is the real deal pocket multi-tool. Inspired by the gimmicky credit card tools available today, Mike Scully of Lever Gear decided to make a tool that can actually be used, and not laughed at.

The Lever Gear Toolcard is made right here in the USA, in NC and NY. The Toolcard is made out of durable 420C Stainless Steel. The Toolcard currently comes in 2 finishes, bead blast silver and gunmetal black. The Toolcard has a 60 day return policy. But let’s get to the meat of this awesome tool.

The Toolcard is PACKED with tools in a small 3.27″ x 2.09″x .0.06″ size:

8 metric wrenches (5mm – 15mm)
8 inch wrenches (3/16” – 9/16”)
8 open-end wrenches fitting:
metric nuts 7,8,10,11,13mm
inch nuts #4,#6,#8,#10,¼”,5/16”

Can opener
Cord cutter
Small Phillips screwdriver
Small flathead screwdriver
Large flathead/Phillips screwdriver
Metric ruler (8cm)
Inch ruler (3in)
Straight edge/scraper
¼” Hex bit holder

Money clip

Besides the useful amount of tools, the Toolcard has some great features that really separate it from other credit card tools. First, it’s big enough to actually keep your hands on it. You can have all the wrenches and screwdrivers your want, but it you can’t hold it, you can’t turn it. To go along with that, you will notice the absence of a knife edge on this multi-tool, meaning you can grip it from any side, any angle. One of the best features is a the removable money clip. Lever Gear states the clip will securely hold a thickness of 6 credit cards, in any combination of cards and money. This makes the Toolcard a convenient, light EDC “wallet” that still has plenty of tools, and is TSA compliant! (See our article HERE on what else is TSA compliant)

Check out the Lever Gear Toolcard. We hope to get one in our hands soon to give you a full review of all of its awesomeness.
